“Times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”— Acts 3:19 KJV
💭 Today’s Reflection
Some seasons drain us.
Responsibilities multiply. Answers are delayed. Relationships become complicated. Even faithful people grow tired.
God does not shame us for having limits.
He invites us to return to Him and receive what our effort alone cannot produce.
Refreshing does not always mean the immediate removal of every burden.
Sometimes refreshing looks like:
🌊 Renewed strength beneath the burden
🌊 Clearer vision in the middle of confusion
🌊 Peace while the answer is still forming
🌊 Hope that helps us keep going
Waiting in God’s presence is not doing nothing.
Waiting is active trust.
We release control. We listen. We allow God to restore our inner life.
You do not have to manufacture enough strength for this season.
You can receive strength from God.
🤔 Pause and Reflect
Where are you exhausted because you have been trying to supply what only God can give?
Check in with yourself:
🫶 My body feels…
🫶 My mind feels…
🫶 My heart feels…
🫶 What I need from God today is…
👣 Today’s Practice
Create a ten-minute “refreshing space.”
📵 Put away your phone.
🪑 Sit somewhere quiet.
🌬️ Breathe slowly.
📖 Read Isaiah 40:28–31.
🤲 Open your hands and receive.
You do not need to perform. Simply be present with God.
🙏 Today’s Prayer
Lord, I admit that I am limited and that I need You. Refresh the places in me that have become dry or weary. Renew my strength and teach me to wait without fear. Give me grace for this season, one faithful day at a time. Amen.
🌱 Carry This With You
I do not have to manufacture what God has promised to provide.
